Candidate Filing for April 7, 2015 Election
The Cook County Clerk’s office will accept candidate filing paperwork from Monday, Dec. 15 to Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 for suburban Cook County school district candidates seeking to run in the April 7, 2015 Consolidated Election. About 700 school board candidates from 145 school districts are expected to file paperwork to get on the ballot.
Information about how to file to be a school board candidate can be found at cookcountyclerk.com/schoolcandidates. Candidates should review the fact sheet, packet details and signature requirements.
Candidates for other local jurisdictions – municipalities, park districts, library districts, etc. – will file with the jurisdiction they seek to represent.
