Grace Period Registration and Voting
February 13 - 27, 2017
February 28, 2017 Consolidated Primary Election
Grace period registration and voting extends the registration period by allowing voters to register and vote until the Monday before an election. Guidelines limit when and where grace period registrants can vote – during the 27 day grace period, voters must register and vote in person at one of the Clerk’s designated grace period locations. For the February 28, 2017 Consolidated Primary Election, all Early Voting sites will be open beginning February 13. For the April 4, 2017 Consolidated Election, all Early Voting sites will be open beginning March 20. They will also conduct grace period registration.
Individuals wishing to vote during the grace period must bring two pieces of identification to register. Grace period registrants immediately cast their ballot after registering to vote.
