College Programs

The Cook County Clerk's office has paid positions available to students who are eager to serve on Election Day.  We are also eager to provide assistance with voter registration efforts.

Voting at Age 17

On January 1, 2014, most 17-year-olds will be eligible to register and vote for the first time in Illinois.  The Cook County Clerk’s office is eager work with suburban Cook County High Schools and ensure that every eligible 17-year-old will have the opportunity to register and vote.

High School Democracy Programs

Our High School Democracy programs — Student Judge and Student Deputy Registrar —  provide a hands-on way to make a difference in your community. We hope that you and your school will take advantage of these opportunities, and we look forward to working with you. Your vote is your voice. Make it count!

    High school seniors and juniors serve as election judges.
