Anyone who missed the Tuesday deadline for regular voter registration can still register under the grace-period registration law for the Feb. 5 Presidential Primary.

Grace-period registration runs now through Tuesday, January 22. Unregistered voters must come to the Clerk’s downtown office at 69 W. Washington, 5th floor, in order to register for the Primary. To register, an individual must also bring two pieces of identification.

Grace-period registrants must vote absentee, either in-person at the Clerk’s office when they register or by requesting an absentee ballot, which can be completed at home and mailed to the Clerk’s office prior to Election Day.
